Well, what most people were assuming would happen finally happened...the Cowboys have released Drew Bledsoe. I say, at this point he's not going to get a starting job because he is an old school QB (stand in the pocket like a statue and throw deep) and that just doesn't work with today's ridiculously fast linemen and linebackers, that he should just retire. He's led a pretty decent career...hall of fame worthy, probably not-not enough records. He should be in the Pat's HOF eventually though.

Don't even go there. I doubt he'd ever come back here or if BB would ever want him back. And what do you mean Cassell on the block?

The Patriots are shopping Matt Cassell as there is significant interest in him from other teams

I agree that Drew wouldn't want to come back to New England, and the feeling is probably mutual. The question is, does Drew realize he needs to retire or is he going to continue to torture himself! Or would he settle for being the older mentor to some new upstart? I don't think he likes playing second fiddle, and is sick of it.
